During the drawing fundamental camp, students learned a variety of drawing techniques using a variety of mediums.
On Monday, we learned the basics, how to draw balls and boxes and create 3 dimensions using various shading techniques using pencil and pens..
On Tuesday we created 2 still life drawings.  One using pen and the other using pastels

On Wednesday we went on a field trip to the nature center
On Thursday we learned how to draw the human form.  We drew portraits of our friends!

During the “Picture This” camp, campers recreated famous impressionist artwork using a variety of mediums.

We learned about Vincent Van Gogh.  We used pastels as well as tempera paint to recreate Starry Night.

We made pinch pot monsters out of clay.  We painted them the following day.
We made paper mache masks.  We made our own paste out of flour and water.  After the paper mache dried we painted the masks.
